The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Nichols Cauley, located in Atlanta. What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held businesses, financial institutions, and governmental entities.
• Perform testing on account balances and transactions, and accurately document your work using audit software.
• Prepare essential workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as part of engagement tasks.
• Help gather and organize client information efficiently, both on-site at client locations and remotely.
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional trainings, and direct client interactions to learn and contribute.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, with a future graduation expected.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required, but candidates must be working toward CPA exam eligibility, proficient in Excel, and comfortable adapting to new technology. Willingness to travel to client sites and between offices within the cluster is also essential.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and clear written and verbal communication abilities.
