• Team: Reports to Senior Associates and Managers, with a Group Leader for development
• Mission: To perform audit procedures, identify and resolve issues in financial statement audits, and assist with financial statement preparation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Procedures: Perform assigned audit procedures on engagements to contribute to the overall audit process.
• Issue Resolution: Work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues encountered during financial statement audits.
• Work Paper Techniques: Develop effective and clear work paper techniques for documentation and analysis.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist with the preparation of financial statements for clients.
• Professional Development: Develop a personal plan for professional growth in collaboration with a group leader.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, aiming to become a CPA candidate, with foundational knowledge of public accounting principles.
• Experience: Internship or light experience obtained in public accounting.
• Skills: Basic familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, excellent written and oral communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and strong interpersonal skills.
