Audit Intern Winter 2027 | Crowe

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Crowe, a leading global professional services firm that operates through a network of over 300 independent accounting and advisory firms in more than 150 countries. The role offers in-depth exposure to the auditing profession, allowing interns to develop analytical skills and contribute to delivering exceptional client service. As an Audit Intern, you will be trusted to deliver results and make an impact within a collaborative and innovative environment, helping to shape the future of the industry.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $27.00 – $42.00 hourly
• Team: Part of the Audit and Assurance practice, collaborating with experienced audit professionals.
• Mission: To gain in-depth exposure to the auditing profession, sharpen analytical skills, and contribute to exceptional audit client service delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit: Sharpen analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Engage Clients: Work as a team member on diverse client engagements across various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions.
• Utilize Technology: Use audit tools and technologies that employ advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation to analyze client data.
• Collaborate: Work both independently and with a diverse group of talented audit professionals to deliver exceptional audit client service.
• Specialized Audits: Have the opportunity to work on benefit plan audits for 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field, with a schedule to meet the educational requirements for CPA licensure in their assigned Crowe work location prior to starting full-time.
• Experience: Relevant work experience, such as previous internships, summer positions, or school jobs.
• Skills: Proficient with Excel, strong academic credentials, demonstrated leadership, problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work on multiple assignments.
• Bonus: Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
