About the Job: Audiovisual Technician

As an Audiovisual Technician, you will be instrumental in preparing, delivering, installing, and supporting the AV equipment essential for trade shows, corporate meetings, conventions, and nightlife venues throughout Las Vegas. Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Overtime: Additional hours are frequently available during peak event schedules, providing opportunities for increased earnings.

Responsibilities

Equipment Preparation & Technical Support

  • Prepare and meticulously check out audiovisual equipment for upcoming events.
  • Thoroughly test and verify equipment functionality before orders depart the warehouse.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and basic operation of audio, video, and display systems.
  • Learn fundamental signal flow principles and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Clean, maintain, and perform routine inspections on all company equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Delivery & Logistics

  • Safely transport audiovisual equipment to various client locations across Las Vegas.
  • Efficiently load and unload equipment trucks while ensuring the protection of all equipment from damage.
  • Inspect equipment meticulously before and after deliveries to confirm accuracy and condition.
  • Maintain organized inventory records and ensure all order documentation is accurate.

Customer Service

  • Communicate professionally and courteously with clients during deliveries and equipment setup.
  • Provide basic guidance and instruction on equipment operation when required.
  • Represent Total Show Technology with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Teamwork & Safety

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and vehicle areas.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with coworkers to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications Required

  • Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • OSHA 10 General Industry Safety card.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrated reliability, and keen attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as event schedules demand.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Demonstrated mechanical or technical aptitude.
  • A genuine interest in audio, video, or electronics systems.
  • A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a significant plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
