What You’ll Actually Do
• Student Attendance Accounting: Primarily perform the precise accounting of student enrollment and daily attendance, ensuring full compliance with state rules and regulations. This involves monitoring student presence and recording absences accurately.
• Communication & Coordination: Serve as a key communicator, engaging with staff, students, and parents regarding attendance issues, providing necessary information, and resolving related inquiries.
• Automated System Operation: Efficiently operate and manage the automated attendance accounting system to input data, retrieve information, and generate reports.
• General Clerical Support: Provide essential general clerical functions to support the overall administrative needs and daily operations of La Paz Intermediate School.
• Student Health & Records Assistance: Assist in maintaining and managing student health care records and other student-related documentation, contributing to student well-being and administrative organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level clerical position within a school district, primarily focused on administrative support related to student attendance. A District-approved First Aid certificate is a mandatory requirement, and must be attached to the application for consideration. Online certificates will not be accepted.
