The Role: At-Home Behavior Therapist

This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who appreciate autonomy in their work. As an At-Home Behavior Therapist, you will provide essential Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services directly within the comfort of our patients’ homes. You’ll build strong relationships with patients and their families, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to learning and skill development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Travel to Client’s Homes: Embrace the opportunity to travel to various locations, meeting families where they are most comfortable. Must be comfortable driving up to 45 minutes each way to patient homes.
  • Autonomous Working Style: We value self-motivated individuals who take ownership of their work. Enjoy the freedom of managing your caseload, trusting your skills to enhance children’s abilities and foster growth.
  • Applying ABA Therapy: Utilize the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to help children with Autism (ages 18 months to 12 years old) reach their full potential.
  • Data Collection & Implementation: Accurately collect data and implement individualized treatment plans tailored for each child.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of like-minded individuals dedicated to living our core values.
  • Prompt & Focused Care: Drive your personal vehicle to patient appointments, arriving promptly and ready to focus entirely on your patient during direct therapy sessions.

Work Environment & Schedule

As an At-Home Behavior Therapist, you will work primarily in the homes of patients, requiring travel within a designated geographic area. You will typically work with one to two patients every day, Monday through Friday. Treatment blocks are scheduled from 8am to 12pm, 1pm to 5pm, or a full day from 8am to 5pm, with one hour allocated for transition between patients.

Compensation & Raises:

  • Competitive Pay Ranges:
    • Associates/High School Diploma Track: $15.00 – $22.50/hr
    • Bachelor’s Degree Track: $15.00 – $24.00/hr
    • Master’s Degree Track: $16.00 – $26.00/hr
  • Entry-Level Raise: Your first raise is given after you are certified as an RBT (typically takes 45 days).
  • Premium Pay: An additional $2.00/hr premium pay on top of base wages.
  • Promotional & Raise Opportunities: Opportunities for promotion and raises every 6 months, with frequent feedback and transparency regarding your career growth.

Travel & Vehicle Support:

  • Mileage Reimbursement!
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Two oil changes per year (up to $50 each).

Who We’re Looking For

All applicants are welcome to jump-start their career in ABA Therapy with any background!

We encourage individuals with experience in or a passion for:

  • Childcare Provider, Nanny, Babysitter, Preschool/Infant Teacher, Montessori Guide, Tutor, Substitute Teacher
  • Mental Health/Autism Advocate, Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Behavioral Health Technicians
  • Camp Counselor, Childcare Volunteer, Sunday School Teacher
  • Teaching, Special Education, Sociology, Human Development, Early Childhood Development, or Psychology degrees (a college degree in any field preferred)
  • Paraprofessionals, Direct Support Professionals, Life Skills Assistant

Essential Requirements:

  • A deep passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families is a must!
