• Mission: Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, examine financial records and transactions for compliance with accounting principles, and contribute to evaluating internal control systems.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze financial statements and related disclosures: You will receive comprehensive training to analyze financial statements and related disclosures, aiming to identify any material misstatements or discrepancies.
• Perform audit procedures: You will learn and execute audit procedures, examining financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
• Assist in evaluating internal control systems: You will assist team members in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of clients’ internal control systems, working collaboratively to deliver quality audit products within established timelines.
• Engage in intern events and projects: You will participate in regional intern events, attend executive speaker sessions with firm partners, and collaborate with fellow interns on a project designed to demonstrate your acquired knowledge and skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Certificate program focused on Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics. Candidates must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be on track to graduate between September 2027 and December 2029.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required for this internship role. However, a demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Educational Licensure Requirements is essential.
• Skills: Strong foundational written and verbal communication abilities are necessary for effective collaboration and clear documentation within the audit process.
