About This Role
InfraSource is seeking a motivated and analytical Associate Project Manager Intern to join our team at the company headquarters in Sumner, WA, for Summer 2026. This 8-10 week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and valuable insight into the various phases of utility construction projects. Under the direct guidance of experienced Project Managers, you will actively participate in every stage of a project’s life cycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closing. This role is ideal for individuals who are accurate, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy utilizing their analytic and organizational skills, potentially even contributing to projects with an environmental component.

Compensation

  • Salary: $25.00/hour

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As an Associate Project Manager Intern, you will play an active role in project execution by:

  • Collaborating with Project Managers to review project costs, schedules, safety, quality, and completion metrics.
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of crucial documentation, including construction progress reports, re-projections, and project-related files.
  • Contributing to the development of project estimates, pricing strategies, and detailed schedules.
  • Aiding in the creation and upkeep of project schedules, budgets, and other necessary project documentation.
  • Preparing and maintaining cash flows, monthly billing, and supporting change order requests for assigned projects.
  • Effectively communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including management, customers, construction crews, and foremen.
  • Monitoring and reporting on overall project health and performance.
  • Prioritizing and promoting safety in all project activities and decisions.
