The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Morgan Latif, located in Austin. Morgan Latif is a B Corp certified leadership search and development consultancy, built to operate differently with a modern, transparent approach to executive search. This Associate Programme offers a structured entry point into retained executive search, enabling individuals to build a career focused on strategic leadership hiring and long-term client partnerships. The role is pivotal in connecting top-tier talent with critical leadership positions, ensuring quality and alignment for client success.

• Mission: Develop consultative sales skills in a relationship-led environment, working on leadership and mission-critical hires where quality and alignment are paramount.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Insight: Build market insight and map leadership talent within target industries.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage C-level and senior stakeholders through various outreach methods including phone, video, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Business Development: Support new business generation, pipeline development, and account growth initiatives.
• Search Process Contribution: Contribute to a structured and transparent search process for leadership roles.
• Project Delivery: Support the delivery of retained leadership hiring projects from initiation to completion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Strong academic or early professional track record, or experience in sales (SDR, AE, BDR) for career changers. A motivation to build a commercially focused career, coupled with curiosity about business, leadership, and performance.
• Experience: No prior experience is required for the early careers route. For those with sales backgrounds, experience in SDR, AE, or BDR roles is expected, along with comfort in outreach, pipeline building, and working to KPIs.
• Skills: Demonstrated drive, resilience, and accountability; confidence in proactive outreach and stakeholder engagement; strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability; natural curiosity and a desire to learn; professional communication and attention to detail.
