• Mission: Support the operational and accounting functions for private equity funds, ensuring accurate financial records and effective client and investor communication.
• Tech Stack: Investran or other partnership accounting software (a plus)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Record Keeping: Record daily journal entries and review cash reporting.
• Reporting Preparation: Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages and financial statements for management approval.
• Capital Event Management: Prepare capital calls and distributions for management approval and coordinate their delivery to clients and investors.
• Client Communication: Prepare and review correspondence with client investors to address inquiries and manage client investor portals.
• Project Support: Coordinate and complete special projects as directed by management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with an interest in supporting private equity fund operations and accounting.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience with a public accounting firm, investment bank, or within the financial services industry.
• Skills: Excellent communication, time management, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
• Bonus: CPA license (or in process) preferred, and knowledge of Investran or other partnership accounting software is a plus.
