Associate Operations Manager-TLMD | Shipt

The Tone:
This is an in-person role at Shipt, located in Chicago, IL. Shipt is a retail tech company connecting people to reliable, high-quality delivery, retail businesses to more satisfied customers, and workers to new earning opportunities. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and safe operations at a Target Sortation Center by providing on-site support for Drivers with Shipt and liaising with Target’s operations team.

• Pay: $52900–$65000 yearly
• Team: Liaises with Target Sortation Center operations team and supports Shipt Drivers.
• Mission: To ensure efficient and safe route dispatch processes for Shipt Drivers at a Target Sortation Center.
• Tech Stack: smartphones, app-store, Google Suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Driver Support: Provide on-site support for Drivers with Shipt at a Target Sortation Center, addressing their immediate needs.
• Operational Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the Target Sortation Center operations team and Shipt Drivers to achieve efficiency and safety during the route dispatch process.
• Issue Resolution: Triage and escalate operational concerns or technology issues to Shipt leadership and/or Target partners on-site for timely resolution.
• Process Improvement: Support new processes, product launches, and pilot tests while continuously promoting a safe working environment at the Sortation Center.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor delivery performance and operational results to drive healthy operational and financial outcomes, and partner with leaders to develop countermeasures for defects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional level, providing on-site operational support and inter-team liaison within logistics or warehouse environments.
• Experience: 2+ years of operations, customer service, or related experience, specifically within logistics or warehouse settings.
• Skills: Strong data-driven leadership skills, effective interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities, proficiency with technology including smartphones, app-store, and Google Suite, and adaptability to maintain a flexible working schedule.
