TripleTree – Investment Banking Associate | Capital One

The Tone:
This is a full-time Investment Banking Associate role at Capital One, located in Bloomington, MN or New York, NY. As part of Capital One, TripleTree operates as a leading healthcare investment bank, dedicated to continuous improvement and growth within a significant financial organization. This role is crucial for enabling TripleTree to execute complex M&A, recapitalization, and strategic advisory services for its healthcare clients, directly contributing to the success and expansion of the business by adding talented professionals.

• Team: TripleTree Investment Banking team
• Mission: Perform critical functions throughout the entire transaction process, from preparing clients for market and engaging buyers to facilitating due diligence and closing deals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Valuation & Modeling: Manage and assist in the preparation of financial models and business valuations.
• Due Diligence: Conduct industry and company-specific business due diligence.
• Client Deliverables: Create client marketing presentations, memoranda, and other deliverables while drafting pitch presentations.
• Relationship Management: Assist in developing and cultivating client, prospective client, and professional advisor relationships, and attend client meetings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions for a mid-senior level career.
• Experience: At least 3 years of investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; financial modeling expertise; understanding of general accounting and finance principles; effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics; at least 4 years of M&A investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience within the healthcare space; at least 2 years of sell-side M&A experience; experience building detailed operating models; FINRA Series 63, Series 79, and SIE licenses.
