Associate Manager, HRBP | Razorpay

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Razorpay, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As an Associate Manager, HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in owning the end-to-end people agenda for a specific business unit, partnering closely with leaders to drive critical people interventions. This role significantly contributes to shaping the future of financial technology by fostering a thriving culture and empowering a 3000+ strong team.

• Team: People Partner for a business/function within the Business Org, owning the people agenda end-to-end.
• Mission: Independently drive people priorities and conversations for a specific business span, connecting people interventions to business outcomes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• People Strategy: Independently drive the people agenda and strategic priorities for your allocated business span, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Business Partnership: Develop a strong understanding of business priorities and challenges, translating these requirements into relevant and impactful people interventions.
• Employee Advocacy: Build meaningful relationships across all levels, actively engaging with employees and managers to proactively address concerns and foster connection.
• Organizational Development: Guide the business through significant changes, including organizational restructuring, leadership transitions, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze people data to identify trends, hotspots, and risks, translating these insights into clear, actionable recommendations for managers and leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with proven HR Business Partner experience. Core domain knowledge in Talent Management, Attrition & Retention, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Change Management, and HR Policies & Processes.
• Experience: 3–5 years of demonstrated HRBP experience, preferably in a high-growth or transformation-oriented environment, having independently supported 200–400 employees across multiple seniority levels.
• Skills: Strong business acumen to connect people interventions to business outcomes; high ownership and bias for action; strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities; highly employee-centric approach with sound judgment in sensitive situations; and strong analytical ability to translate data into practical recommendations.
• Bonus: Experience in employee cost / workforce Annual Operating Plan (AOP) management would be valuable.
