What You’ll Actually Do
• Model Development: Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models, ensuring integrity of structure, assumptions, and outputs across acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio analyses.
• Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed cash flow modeling, analysis of key return metrics such as IRR, NPV, and equity multiples, and scenario-based sensitivity assessments to inform risk-adjusted decision making.
• Research and Underwriting: Conduct market research, comparable analysis, and supply/demand evaluations to support underwriting assumptions and investment strategy, including sensitizing key financial variables.
• Transaction Support: Support the full transaction lifecycle by performing and coordinating comprehensive due diligence, preparing clear investment memos and presentations, and contributing to drafting offer letters and term sheets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, tax, accounting, and financing teams, throughout the transaction process to evaluate implications of capital structure and other financial impacts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: At least two years of relevant experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, asset management, or corporate finance.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and valuation experience with the ability to build and interpret complex investment analyses; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations; proficient in Argus or similar real estate financial modeling software.
