Associate Director, Private Wealth | VISTRA

The Tone:
This is a full-time, permanent role at Vistra, located in Jersey. Vistra helps clients achieve global progress by removing the complexities and friction inherent in global business operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth delivery of private wealth services, maintaining high client satisfaction, and contributing significantly to the team’s growth and operational efficiency.

• Mission: To oversee private wealth service delivery, client satisfaction, and team performance, ensuring progress for clients without operational friction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Service Delivery: Manage contractual relationships and operational delivery of private wealth services, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded.
• Manage Client Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for key client relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction, handling escalations, and identifying opportunities to expand business.
• Lead Team Operations: Manage team recruitment, performance appraisals, illness management, resource allocation, and foster a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous professional development.
• Financial Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing, manage debt recovery, implement annual fee increases, and minimise write-offs across the service delivery team.
• Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Review legal and tax advice, ensure all regulatory submissions are compliant, maintain a strong control environment, and manage relevant vendor relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level role focusing on private wealth services, with sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards. Minimum JFSC Table 5 qualification required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years at a Senior Manager level.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong management and leadership skills, customer service orientation, and a keen eye for detail to improve service delivery and profitability.
• Bonus: Ideally holds a JFSC Table 4 qualification and possesses the willingness and ability to travel for client and business development meetings.
