What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Own DoorDash’s comprehensive long-range financial model, serving as a critical tool for strategic planning.
• Strategic Development: Partner with diverse teams across the business to develop DoorDash’s multi-year financial strategy.
• Capital Allocation: Influence key capital allocation decisions, ensuring efficient and data-driven resource deployment.
• External Reporting: Play an integral role in translating strategic decisions and historical performance into clear narratives for external stakeholders.
• Internal Processes: Assist in managing the internal financial reporting processes, contributing to transparency and accountability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level professional with core domain knowledge in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally within a high-growth technology sector or a well-established company; this also includes experience managing budgets for various teams.
• Skills: Intermediate Excel proficiency, with the ability to build financial models to improve business understanding; also requires strong analytical abilities to ensure efficient, data-driven decision-making, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal partners.
• Bonus: Willingness to learn and improve Excel proficiency to meet role requirements.
