Client Service Associate | Guidepoint
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Guidepoint, located in the United States, requiring three days in the office. Guidepoint is a leading research enablement platform designed to advance understanding and empower client decision-making. The Client Service team connects leading consultancies with the subject-matter experts they need, providing a fast, high-quality client experience by delivering targeted expert matches. As an Associate, you will learn to assess client needs, identify suitable experts, and recruit them into Guidepoint’s global network. What You’ll Actually Do
• Expert Recruitment: Actively recruit new experts into Guidepoint’s expansive global network of over 1,750,000 Advisors and engage them for client consultations.
• Research & Identification: Independently conduct targeted research across professional platforms like LinkedIn, press releases, company websites, and other public sources to pinpoint relevant subject-matter experts.
• Expert Engagement: Lead cold outreach, conduct thorough phone-based vetting, and screening conversations with potential experts to accurately evaluate their fit for specific client projects and prepare high-quality profiles for client consideration.
• Strategic Sourcing: Define effective sourcing strategies for each client request, taking into account project scope, urgency, and the specific target expert profile required by the client.
• Project Management: Skillfully manage multiple fast-moving client requests concurrently, balancing competing deadlines while consistently maintaining a high standard of execution and service.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher. This role is suited for early career professionals.
• Experience: Candidates must possess previous relevant internship, volunteer, or extracurricular experience demonstrating initiative and capability.
• Skills: Demonstrated AI fluency and practical experience using AI-enabled tools to support research, organization, prioritization, and written communication, while applying them thoughtfully and responsibly with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, data quality, and human judgment. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines through strong time management and organizational skills. Comfort engaging senior professionals effectively by phone, building rapport quickly, and accurately assessing their fit for client needs. Clear and professional communication, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
