The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at T. Rowe Price, with office locations including Maryland, Colorado, Washington, Washington D.C., New York, and California, offering up to one day per week from home. This Associate Analyst role is a structured three-to-five-year program, designed to develop future fundamental investment analysts by providing crucial equity research support to our Technology analyst and senior investment professionals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research Support: Provide fundamental equity research support for our Technology analyst, learning directly from senior investment professionals daily.
• Financial Analysis: Build and update comprehensive financial models and assist in quarterly earnings analysis, summarizing key takeaways.
• Industry Deep Dives: Conduct various industry and thematic deep dives, undertaking preliminary work on new investment ideas.
• Executive Engagement: Attend conferences and meetings with management teams, engaging directly with public company C-suite executives in offices and in the field.
• Investment Impact: Deliver investment insight and impact the investment process beyond just number crunching, with the potential to rate and recommend stocks as an accomplished analyst.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required with a strong academic background, indicative of a career level focused on developing future investment analysts.
• Experience: 1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in equity research or investment banking, with previous experience building three-statement financial models.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, advanced financial modeling capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and a demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis.
• Bonus: Progress toward the CFA designation, with a strong preference for candidates who have successfully completed at least Level 1; familiarity with Python and AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex is also preferred.
