Store Assistant Manager | Circle K

• Mission: Assist in the comprehensive oversight of Stationstore operations, maintaining high standards of service and ensuring the successful execution of the food program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Management: Assist the Store Manager in the comprehensive oversight of all Stationstore operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning and adherence to company standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: Contribute to the hiring and supervision of store staff, working closely with the team to achieve daily operational tasks and foster a motivated environment.
• Financial & Merchandising Execution: Accurately manage bookkeeping responsibilities and strategically implement merchandising efforts to optimize product presentation and sales.
• Customer Service Excellence: Uphold and maintain the company’s high standards for customer service, consistently providing fast, friendly, and efficient service to all patrons.
• Food Program Implementation: Oversee and actively execute the demanding requirements of the company’s established food program, ensuring quality and compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial level with core domain knowledge in retail operations and staff supervision.
• Experience: Prior retail experience, supervisor or management experience, experience handling food, and demonstrated recruiting, hiring, and interviewing skills.
• Skills: Leading a team, recruiting and interviewing, delegation and follow-up, teaching and motivating others, planning and organizing, communicating plans and ideas, cash-handling and bookkeeping, problem-solving, advocating and empathizing, and ensuring safety and security.
• Bonus: High School or College Degree(s).
