This role is for an Assistant Account Manager joining Citrin Cooperman’s Business Management & Family Office practice within their Advisory Department. The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to an Account Manager within the Business Management & Family Office practice in the Advisory Department.
• Mission: To provide essential financial administrative support, manage accounts, and assist in client financial reporting within the Business Management & Family Office practice.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Payables and Receipts: Enter accounts payable, maintain due date schedules, process cash receipts, and manage commission and payment schedules for client accounts.
• Handle Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve issues, process address changes, and maintain effective vendor relationships.
• Process Financial Records: Post, download, and analyze credit card activity for accurate coding, and record investment transactions with guidance from the Account Manager, escalating suspicious activity as needed, including creating brokerage schedules.
• Coordinate Administration: Maintain the electronic filing system, organize administrative tasks like filing, scanning, and shredding, and guide the administration team in document processing and mail handling, verifying source documents.
• Prepare Key Reports: Book payroll from outside payroll provider records, prepare 1099s, and complete guild reporting (DGA, SAG, WGA) for review by the Account Manager after training.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics), or 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience in business management.
• Experience: Prior knowledge of and experience with accounting principles and full-charge bookkeeping.
• Skills: Meticulous attention to detail for quality technical output, strong business acumen with a client-focused perspective, and excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and communication.
