Fund Accountant | China AMC

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at China AMC, located in China. China AMC is a leading asset management company that develops and manages various financial products. This critical role ensures the precise valuation and accounting of our diverse asset management products, upholding financial integrity and supporting the firm’s growth and compliance with industry standards. By maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial operations, this position directly contributes to client trust and successful product offerings.

• Team: Fund Accounting team within China AMC FinTech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China AMC.
• Mission: This person ensures accurate valuation, pricing, and accounting for all asset management products, maintains compliance, and supports product development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Process all business activities related to valuation and accounting for asset management products, including transactions, corporate actions, funds, subscriptions, redemptions, and fees.
• Accuracy & Reconciliation: Manage the valuation, pricing, and accounting for various asset management products, conducting net asset value reconciliation with custodians to ensure the accuracy of all results.
• Process Improvement: Update valuation and accounting manuals and business processes, identifying relevant risk points and configuring corresponding monitoring items.
• Regulatory & System Support: Analyze and assist with the implementation of industry regulations, develop internal manuals and documentation, and participate in system requirements analysis and testing.
• Product Collaboration: Collaborate with front-office teams to design product valuation and accounting service solutions and confirm relevant content within product contracts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree or higher from domestic or international universities in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, or Computer Science.
• Experience: Relevant professional experience in fund accounting.
• Skills: Meticulous and rigorous with a strong sense of responsibility and motivation, excellent quick learning ability, and strong team cooperation spirit; strong logical thinking ability and good writing skills; strong English reading and writing abilities.
• Bonus: A technology-related academic background; some experience and practical ability in technological innovation; experience in domestic and international policy research and interpretation; possession of relevant English qualification certificates; a demonstrated pursuit of excellence in all tasks; integrity, honesty, a drive for progress, and a willingness to take on responsibility.
