The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership role at Genesis Health Clubs, located in Evansville, IN, specifically at the Tri-State Athletic Club. Genesis Health Clubs operates a premier facility featuring both indoor and outdoor pools with extensive aquatics programming. This role is crucial for building, growing, and elevating the aquatics department, enhancing the member experience, and ensuring operational excellence across all aquatic facilities in the region.

• Location: In-person, Evansville, IN
• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Leads lifeguards and swim instructors, reporting to the Club Manager and collaborating with Regional Managers.
• Mission: Owns the expansion and elevation of aquatics programming, ensuring a premier member experience and operational excellence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Programming: Lead the full oversight of all aquatics programming for multiple indoor and outdoor pools.
• Team Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguards and swim instructors to build a strong team culture.
• Program Development: Develop and expand swim lesson programs for youth and adults, and create seasonal aquatics events.
• Operational Standards: Ensure all classes, lessons, and guards uphold the highest safety and service standards for members.
• Facility Coordination: Coordinate pool care, maintain deck safety, and manage equipment organization and maintenance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experience overseeing aquatics programming, staffing, and facility operations at a leadership level.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Skills: CPR and First Aid certification; excellent communication and customer service abilities; knowledge of pool operations, safety standards, and aquatic best practices.
• Bonus: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days if not already certified.
