About the Job: Analytics Engineer Intern at Netflix

Netflix is a global leader in entertainment, serving over 300 million paid memberships across more than 190 countries. Members enjoy a vast array of TV series, films, and games, with the flexibility to play, pause, and resume watching anytime, anywhere.

Our mission is to entertain the world, driven by our content and the conversations it sparks. Data is a crucial component in shaping our comprehensive strategy. As we look to the future, we are seeking an Analytics Engineer Intern to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in multiplying the impact of data practitioners across the organization by leveraging cutting-edge technology to build essential infrastructure, tools, and frameworks. These solutions will empower analysts, data scientists, and business partners to access insights faster and more efficiently.

The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in data technologies, a keen appreciation for simplifying complex systems, and a strong passion for building infrastructure that enables fellow data practitioners. You should be excited about creating tools and systems that multiply impact across data teams, rather than solely focusing on individual analyses.

  • Analytically minded, adept at bringing data solutions and business impact together while managing cross-functional projects autonomously.

  • An individual with a growth mindset, who is impact-driven and has a strong desire for growing a broad set of technical and non-technical skills.

What Will You Learn? (Key Learning Opportunities and Responsibilities):

  • You will build scalable tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that enable data practitioners across the organization to deliver insights more efficiently.
