Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) | PKF O’Connor Davies

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PKF Investment Banking, located in the NY Tri-State Area. PKF O’Connor Davies is a private equity-backed accounting and advisory platform, and PKF Investment Banking is its rapidly growing M&A advisory practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly contribute from the start and help build a leading middle-market M&A advisory firm.

• Mission: This person will assume significant responsibilities related to pitching for and executing middle-market sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Assist in the preparation of financial and valuation models and other key financial analyses.
• Client Presentations: Support the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and other marketing documents.
• Market Research: Conduct industry research to identify key trends, potential buyers, and acquisition targets.
• Due Diligence: Facilitate due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams, other advisors, and clients.
• Deal Execution: Coordinate and manage various aspects of deal execution from origination to closure.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or an MBA from a top-tier business school.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory Services work experience, along with Series 63 and 79 licenses.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, excellent analytical and problem-solving, effective written and verbal communication, and project management skills.
• Bonus: Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
