This Analyst position is crucial for supporting senior team members, fostering strong client relationships, and directly contributing to the successful execution of financial transactions for private equity firms and their portfolio companies within the Commercial & Investment Bank.

• Mission: To support senior bankers in prospecting, pitching, and executing transactions for private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Origination: Partner with senior members and product bankers to prospect, pitch, and execute transactions on behalf of private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
• Due Diligence & Analysis: Support client meetings, assist in analyzing business plans, and participate in due diligence sessions.
• Transaction Execution: Play an active role in executing mandated deals, including client advisory work, structuring and negotiating legal documents, and coordinating distribution.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prepare presentations to support business development efforts, and perform portfolio reviews to assess new opportunities.
• Internal Coordination: Coordinate with product partners across the firm to maximize collaboration in sponsor coverage efforts and manage internal processes for coverage and KPI tracking.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1+ years of related experience in financial services, investment banking, commercial banking, or private equity. FINRA Series 79, Series 63, and SIE required (or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment).
• Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong work ethic, motivation, ability to collaborate across teams, personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities.
• Bonus: Experience working with private equity firms or in a Financial Sponsors, Investment Banking, or Commercial Banking environment, coupled with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
