The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Amber Road Investors, located in New York City. Amber Road Investors is a New York-based long/short equity investment firm that focuses on technology companies in emerging markets, investing in public companies across various geographies. The Analyst will be a critical team member responsible for conducting fundamental research and contributing directly to the firm’s investment decisions and growth. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact the firm’s portfolio and business development in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct research: Perform fundamental company research focused on technology companies operating in emerging markets.
• Make recommendations: Generate and present investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
• Participate in selection: Actively contribute to the firm’s stock selection processes.
• Manage risk: Engage in and support the firm’s risk management processes.
• Drive growth: Help build and expand a high-growth investment business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Strong record of academic excellence, with a demonstrated interest in the technology sector and international markets.
• Experience: At least 2 years experience conducting public markets investment research in a team setting.
• Skills: Public markets investment research, fundamental company research, investment recommendation generation.
• Bonus: Additional language proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin).
