The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CreditSights, located in Denver, CO. CreditSights provides award-winning, unbiased research on global credit markets, enabling clients to make informed investment decisions. With offices globally and featured in top financial publications like Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal, CreditSights serves a diverse institutional client base. This Analyst role on the Healthcare team is crucial for delivering critical intelligence and actionable insights that help clients navigate complex financial markets and contribute to award-winning research.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct sector and market analysis, including monitoring credit fundamentals and canvassing multiple news sources for relevant information.
• Build, update, and maintain financial models and databases using both public and proprietary data.
• Perform relative value analysis across companies within the healthcare sector and interpret credit market data for portfolio recommendations.
• Write comprehensive research reports, including thematic research and company-specific analyses, and contribute to data analysis.
• Prepare presentation materials and slide decks for clients, and actively participate in meetings with an array of client types.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Educated to a bachelor’s degree level or equivalent; knowledge of financial markets and experience analyzing capital markets.
• Skills: Strong numeracy, critical thinking, and writing skills; strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to accelerate, optimize, and/or automate workflows; highly organized, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
• Bonus: 1-3 years of prior experience in a credit research, economics, investment banking, or debt capital markets role; CFA charterholder or demonstrated progress toward attaining a CFA charter; proficiency in Bloomberg and/or FactSet; capable of producing high-quality outputs under pressure and in a timely manner.
