Analyst – Healthcare | Lazard

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses.
• Information Synthesis: Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information for strategic purposes.
• Research: Perform company and industry research to support deal teams.
• Presentation Preparation: Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior bankers and client executives on deal teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Career. Proven academic excellence and a high degree of intellectual curiosity, typical of an early-career professional.
• Experience: One year of relevant investment banking experience with significant exposure to mergers and acquisitions.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills with extensive training in building presentation materials and financial modeling; meticulous attention to detail and outstanding standards of accuracy; high level of responsiveness, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining top quality work products; a team player mindset with the ability to work seamlessly as part of a close-knit team; stellar interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both deal teams and external clients; strong ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and deliverables.
