This role is crucial for supporting the financial management of various initiatives within Firehouse Subs US&C, playing a key part in the brand’s financial health and strategic decision-making. The position contributes directly to ensuring effective financial oversight of expenses, capital projects, and reporting for the brand.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and prior-year figures for internal reporting.
• Financial Planning: Assist in managing the P&L by preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-term budgets and forecasts.
• Project Financial Support: Track and manage budgets for capital expenditure (Capex) and operational projects.
• Project Decisions: Prepare financial analysis to support project decisions and contract negotiations.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze financial trends and key performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers across the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Skills: Proficiency with modern financial software and applications like Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; Comfort working with AI tools and the ability to create AI-enhanced workflows; Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
