The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Publicis Groupe. This role is crucial for managing the Agency’s Financial Reporting and Controls department, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Publicis Corporate Policies (JANUS). The Analyst contributes to accurate financial reporting, supports audit processes, and helps maintain the integrity of financial data, which is vital for the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.

• Mission: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, manage general ledger processes, and support internal and external audits.
• Tech Stack: Hyperion, SAP (preferred), Microsoft applications (Excel, Word)

What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger: Assist in reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations and preparing monthly journal entries in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and Publicis policies.
• Financial Accuracy: Review daily financials during month-end close to ensure accuracy and help the Job Management team resolve job-related issues.
• Reporting & Compliance: Support the preparation of monthly Balance Sheet and P&L for Hyperion, ensuring accuracy for consolidation, and assist with Corporate Accounting processes aligned with Internal Control requirements.
• Audit Support: Assist with external year-end, hard close, and revenue testing audits, as well as Publicis Internal, Financial Monitor Control, Test of Control, and Walk-Through audits.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and help the Director of Financial Reporting and Controls draft efficient processes across USMS.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience, with a preference for a service industry background.
• Skills: Knowledge of general accounting principles, strong communication skills, excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and learn quickly.
• Bonus: CPA certification, SAP and Hyperion knowledge.
