The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Aptura, located remotely. Aptura, a team formed from Lazard, Partners Group, and McKinsey, partners with frontier AI labs to embed genuine investment banking and private equity expertise into the reasoning of their AI models. This position is vital for providing the nuanced judgment, deal instincts, and understanding of regulated industry standards that AI models need to make sophisticated financial decisions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Create client-quality deliverables including valuation and operating models, pitch and teaser materials, and various analyses, structured for AI model learning.
• Execute: Build out end-to-end deal tasks in full, such as a complete M&A or financing process.
• Apply: Implement the same rigorous standards found in real deal work, ensuring compliance with regulated industry expectations.
• Contribute: Provide the crucial judgment and reasoning that allows frontier AI models to learn from complex financial decisions and financial workflows.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced Professional with deep knowledge of investment banking and leveraged finance.
• Experience: 3 to 7 years in investment banking, demonstrating real deal experience and a track record of closed transactions.
• Skills: Valuation and operating model development, Pitch and teaser material creation, Comparable and precedent transaction analysis, End-to-end deal task execution, Adherence to regulated industry standards.
