The TL;DR

• Mission: Apply AI/ML techniques to automate data interpretation, enhance subsurface modeling, and optimize engineering decisions across E&P workflows.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Automation: Automate data interpretation, scenario generation, and decision support across E&P workflows using Generative AI.
• Workflow Design: Design agentic workflows that autonomously orchestrate data processing, model execution, and engineering decision support.
• Subsurface Modeling: Employ generative machine learning techniques for subsurface modeling and analysis.
• Workflow Enhancement: Apply machine learning to interactive subsurface interpretative workflows.
• Optimization: Develop reservoir proxy models for rapid simulation and optimization of field development scenarios.

The Must-Haves
• Background: PhD students with expertise in geoscience, engineering, or computer science.
• Experience: Prior experience in scientific coding, data science, or machine learning.
• Skills: Scientific coding, data science, machine learning expertise, and reliable transportation to and from work daily.
