### Internships at Cvent

Cvent’s paid internship provides students with hands-on experience and direct mentorship that supports their professional development and career growth. Interns are exposed to the inner workings of an industry-leading software company while taking ownership of projects that contribute to the company’s continued success. Interns may receive an offer for full-time employment after graduation.

As an AI/ML/Data Science Intern, you will:
• Work on real projects using Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science to build models and LLM-powered features in CventIQ, Cvent’s suite of AI products.

### Ideal Candidates

We are looking for candidates who:
• Have a strong interest in AI research and a desire to build a career in this field.
• Bring curiosity, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Are skilled in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, data analysis, analytical thinking, and solid communication.

### Example Projects

Interns may contribute to projects such as:
• Developing recommendations to personalize event planning and boost attendee engagement.
• Building various ML/statistical models.
• Creating AI accelerators.

### Requirements & Qualifications

• Full-time college student with plans to graduate in May 2027 (seeking a summer internship between Junior & Senior year).
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks.
• Ability to commute to our headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA.
• Strong time management, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a drive for continual improvement.
