Artificial Intelligence Intern | Richardson
The Tone:
This is a full-time or part-time internship at Richardson Sports, located fully on-site in Springfield, OR. Richardson Sports is a leading company in headwear and sports apparel, committed to innovation, operational excellence, and utilizing technology to enhance the employee and customer experience. This role is crucial for driving the adoption and effective use of AI-powered tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot and HubSpot Breeze AI across the organization. The intern will help departments improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance collaboration by translating technical AI capabilities into practical workplace solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training: Assist employees in learning and effectively using Microsoft 365 Copilot tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
• Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through AI-assisted workflows and automation across various departments.
• Content Creation: Develop user guides, training materials, quick-reference documentation, and best practices for AI tool usage.
• Instruction: Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions to educate employees on AI capabilities and applications.
• Feedback & Reporting: Gather feedback from users, recommend process improvements, and track adoption metrics, productivity gains, and user engagement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong interest in artificial intelligence and workplace productivity technologies; familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users; self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, automation tools, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar AI platforms.
