Administrative Fellow | Craig Hospital

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Craig Hospital, located in Englewood, CO. Craig Hospital is a nationally recognized, mission-driven community dedicated to helping patients rebuild their lives and achieve extraordinary outcomes after spinal cord and brain injury. This administrative fellowship is designed to accelerate the careers of emerging healthcare leaders, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, make a meaningful impact, and contribute to the hospital’s strategic priorities.

• Pay: $30.38–$43.75 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Vice President of People and Culture.
• Mission: This person solves the problem of cultivating future healthcare leadership through immersive experience and project contributions, supporting Craig Hospital’s mission and strategic priorities.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead and support high-impact strategic and operational projects across the organization.
• Rotate: Participate in 8–10 week rotational experiences to develop healthcare management and leadership competencies.
• Collaborate: Partner with physicians, clinical leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to accomplish project goals.
• Attend: Attend leadership meetings, committees, and organizational events, effectively communicating outcomes and recommendations.
• Support: Support the planning, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and transition of future fellowship cohorts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field; or current graduate-level degree candidate who will complete their degree prior to the fellowship start date. Entry-Level.
• Experience: External candidates must be within 12 months of master’s degree graduation, and internal candidates within three years. This is a two-year fellowship program.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, self-motivation, and initiative.
• Bonus: Internship, fellowship, employment, practicum, or other experiential learning within healthcare; exposure to healthcare operations, administration, strategy, quality improvement, or patient experience initiatives; leadership experience through graduate programs, student organizations, employment, volunteer work, or community involvement; demonstrated experience managing projects or coordinating teams.
