Accounts Receivable Analyst I | ISC (Integrated Specialty Coverages, LLC)

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at ISC, located in Carlsbad, CA, starting with full-time onsite work before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. ISC is a technology and data-driven commercial MGA and insurance wholesaler, backed by Onex Partners, building an Insurtech powerhouse for the insurance market. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring efficient cash management, and supporting the company’s exponential growth by fostering strong internal and external relationships.

• Mission: This person ensures accurate cash management and financial record-keeping, supporting efficient operations and strong stakeholder relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Management: Post incoming cash streams across multiple high-volume bank accounts, accurately representing this data on accounting platforms.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and accounts receivable details, performing adjusting journal entries to correct any errors.
• Customer Service: Provide support to both external and internal teams, managing invoicing, direct billing, and dispute settlements while maintaining positive relationships with producers.
• Collections & Reporting: Monitor aged receivables, facilitate collection efforts, and prepare special reports to provide current financial status information and complete special projects.
• Compliance & Efficiency: Maintain financial records and accounting controls by adhering to policies, procedures, and legal requirements, while also identifying opportunities for operational and process improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with a preferred Bachelor’s Degree or two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in Accounts Receivable functions.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet recurring monthly deadlines.
