Accounts Receivable Coordinator | Relevate Health

The Tone:

As healthcare marketing experts experiencing continued growth, this role is crucial for supporting the daily accounts receivable process, ensuring timely billing and collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will deliver excellent internal and external customer service while supporting the Finance team.

The TL;DR
• Role: Entry-Level
• Location: Hybrid (near Relevate Health office) or Remote
• Team: Finance/Accounting Team; reports to the Accounts Receivable Team
• Mission: This person supports the daily accounts receivable process, ensuring timely billing and collections while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office

What You’ll Actually Do
• AR Support: Support the daily accounts receivable and billing processes.
• Invoice Management: Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices.
• Customer Relations: Monitor the accounts receivable mailbox and respond to customer and internal inquiries.
• Payment Application: Assist with cash application by matching customer payments to open invoices.
• Record Maintenance: Help maintain customer account records and update account information as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of accounting, finance, accounts receivable, customer service, or administrative experience.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office; customer service mindset; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience working with accounting or ERP systems; prior internship or office experience.
