• Mission: Manage the company’s day-to-day payables activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments and supporting financial operations for renewable energy projects.
• Tech Stack: Accounting or ERP software, Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage daily payables activities by processing vendor invoices and verifying purchase orders.
• Accurately code expenses to appropriate accounts and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare and review expense reports.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including relevant journal entries related to accounts payable.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles, including familiarity with accounts payable processes.
• Experience: Practical experience with expense reports and accounting journal entries.
• Skills: Solid analytical skills, consistent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Experience in the energy or construction sector; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
