Accounts Payable Clerk | ATKG

• Mission: Manage accounts payable functions for multiple clients, ensuring accurate processing, timely payments, and precise record-keeping in compliance with client policies.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process vendor invoices and payment requests for assigned clients, matching them with purchase orders and receipts where applicable.
• Prepare and manage payment batches, including checks, ACH, or wire transfers, ensuring timely payment of client obligations.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and manage W-9s and 1099 tracking as needed for various clients.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to promptly resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues.
• Support the client accounting team by assisting with monthly reconciliations and providing necessary AP reports to clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level with core domain knowledge in bookkeeping.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of previous bookkeeping experience. Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Bill.com is preferred.
• Skills: Detailed-oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to keep client and professional matters confidential, effective communication with clients, managers, and co-workers, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance. Prior employment with a public accounting firm.
