What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Receive and process all incoming AP mail, including invoices and vendor statements, while monitoring and managing the AP workflow.
• Vendor Management: Support vendor setup and maintenance processes, which includes obtaining W-9s and processing credit applications.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with team members to resolve invoice discrepancies, obtain any missing information, and secure proper approvals for payments.
• Payment Operations: Prepare and process various payment methods, including ACH, VPA, and checks, for high-priority overhead accounts, loans, leases, and utilities.
• Expense Reporting Support: Manage Concur responsibilities, providing employee profile setup, expense report assistance, and following up on corrections or outstanding approvals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Associate’s degree or relevant coursework in accounting or finance preferred; fundamental knowledge of accounts payable, construction job costing, and cost codes.
• Experience: 1-2 years of accounts payable experience preferred; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general accounting software.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the CMiC construction accounting system.
