• Mission: Owns the processing and maintenance of financial transactions and records to ensure accurate accounting support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Process various financial transactions, including keying in unit ownership resales, mutual receipts, and trust receipts.
• Payment Management: Prepare and process owner refunds, reapply payments as necessary, and manage accounts payable and receivable functions including invoice and check processing.
• Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain comprehensive accounting documents and records, daily entering key data of financial transactions into the database.
• Operational Support: Execute the monthly delinquency process, reconcile accounts, prepare bank deposits, and serve as the primary backup for Accounts Receivable.
• Communication & Service: Assist Accountants with resident communications, including payment coupons and mailings, and provide customer service to residents and department staff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of accounting principles necessary for processing financial transactions and maintaining records.
• Experience: Experience in performing accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, preparing bank deposits, and managing general ledger postings.
• Skills: Accurate data entry, Account reconciliation, Customer service, Financial record keeping, Document preparation.
