The Accounting Specialist will utilize technology to automate tasks, allowing for more time dedicated to solving complex problems within the central support accounting team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record Keeping: Help maintain a business record of financial transactions carried out by the company.
• Reporting: Prepare relevant accounting reports of the company’s financial activities as assigned.
• Compliance: Ensure all transactions are properly recorded according to established guidelines.
• Security: Follow internal accounting procedures to maintain the company’s financial security.
• Accuracy: Review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting. This is an early career role.
• Experience: Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Skills: Strong work ethic emphasizing integrity and accountability, the ability to analyze and perform complex calculations, knowledge of basic accounting and reconciling processes, and effective communication with internal and external customers.
