The Tone:
This is a direct-hire position for an Accounting Platform Associate. The client is a global investment management firm reimagining what the next-generation investment organization should look like. This role is critical in supporting and evolving their financial operations function. The associate will contribute to the development of scalable financial systems and processes.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $80000–$100000 yearly
• Mission: Evolve and optimize financial operations by combining core accounting responsibilities with process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks, Concur, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design and improve financial workflows across various accounting functions including billing, receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
• Support: Support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within financial operations.
• Manage: Manage the full billing cycle, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and performance-based billing activities.
• Oversee: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections processes to ensure smooth financial transactions.
• Perform: Perform cash and general ledger reconciliations and work to strengthen internal controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, operations, or a related field, combined with 3-5 years of professional accounting or financial operations experience.
• Experience: Proven experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reconciliations, plus proficiency with accounting or financial systems such as QuickBooks, Concur, or comparable platforms.
• Skills: Proficiency with Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment, strong communication skills, and an ownership-oriented mindset.
• Bonus: Experience within asset management, investment management, financial services, or similarly rigorous environments, or experience with workflow automation, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
