What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Oversee a small staff and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Reconcile & Ensure: Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Manage & Maintain: Manage the general ledger, ensuring proper assignment of transactions, and maintain the accounting systems.
• Collaborate & Support: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support plant operations and decision-making.
• Monitor & Enforce: Monitor and enforce compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar accounting leadership role.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, proficiency in accounting and financial management software, and excellent analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
• Bonus: Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
