This Accounting Intern role offers a vital opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience by applying classroom learning to real-world financial operations. The selected intern will contribute meaningfully to daily accounting tasks while developing foundational skills in a professional environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Transactions: Assist with both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, contributing to the efficient management of company finances.
• Record Maintenance: Process, meticulously organize, and maintain critical invoices and other essential financial records with precision.
• Month-End Support: Provide support for account reconciliations and assist with various month-end activities, ensuring timely financial close processes.
• Data Integrity: Accurately enter and thoroughly review financial data to ensure its completeness and accuracy within accounting systems.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare basic financial reports, comprehensive spreadsheets, and other required documentation for internal use.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related degree program; this is an Entry-Level internship designed for students.
• Experience: Demonstrable interest in developing a long-term career in accounting or finance; basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other core Microsoft Office applications.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and robust organizational skills; clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities; a reliable and discreet work ethic coupled with a strong willingness to learn.
