This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience within corporate accounting, working alongside seasoned professionals. The Accounting Intern will play a key role in maintaining organized financial documentation and ensuring data accuracy, directly contributing to the finance team’s overall effectiveness.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Management: Scan and digitally file various financial documents, such as deposit slips, payment forms, and credit card information.
• Expense Reconciliation: Collaborate with employees to collect credit card receipts and ensure accurate transaction descriptions.
• Data Verification: Review miscellaneous spreadsheets to verify accuracy and implement necessary corrections.
• Team Support: Provide assistance to accounting associates and other finance team members on diverse tasks and projects as they arise.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student seeking practical experience in corporate accounting.
• Experience: Proficiency with PC knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the capacity to quickly learn new software systems.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and focus on quality in all aspects of work, professional and articulate written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Bonus: Currently enrolled in a secondary education program, pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
