• Mission: Utilize educational knowledge to perform accounting-related responsibilities and support client engagements, providing timely and accurate assistance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Service: Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner.
• Information Management: Proactively work with clients to gather necessary information for the completion of required documents and respond effectively to their inquiries.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns, providing valuable support in making recommendations.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify and suggest improvement opportunities in existing internal processes to enhance overall efficiency within the firm.
• Core Specialization: Depending on the assigned track, prepare individual, business, or fiduciary tax returns and projections in accordance with firm and professional standards, OR perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures and prepare financial statements and footnotes, while communicating findings to engagement leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, making this an ideal early career opportunity for students.
• Experience: Required completion of at least one corporate or individual taxation class, alongside actively working towards the 150 credits needed for CPA exam eligibility upon graduation.
• Skills: Demonstrated above-average competency in accounting, ideally with a 3.0 GPA or higher, coupled with the ability to think independently and make sound decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with clients and staff, as is the capability to prioritize tasks, follow through on requests, and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Preferred coursework demonstrating an interest or foundational knowledge in Data Analytics or Big Data.
