What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable Management: Accurately prepare and process purchase order invoices and associated invoice journals, ensuring timely execution and correct financial recording. This includes verifying that proper approvals are obtained and maintaining accurate, up-to-date filing of all documentation.
• Financial Reconciliation: Match purchase orders, receiving records, and invoices to ensure precise data input and correct expense accounting classifications, thereby maintaining financial integrity.
• Accounts Receivable Collections: Proactively follow up on outstanding customer accounts and effectively communicate with customers regarding overdue balances to facilitate prompt resolution and payment.
• Chargeback and Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer chargebacks and other financial discrepancies by thorough follow-up and analysis, ensuring accurate account reconciliation.
• General Accounting Support: Provide comprehensive support by assisting in the preparation of Accounts Receivable reports and statements, as well as performing essential data entry, record keeping, document organization, and invoice generation and dispatch.

• Background: Entry-Level. Currently enrolled in a college or university accounting program.
• Experience: Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Skills: Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective identification and resolution of financial issues; Superior organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills, essential for managing diverse accounting responsibilities efficiently; Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while also performing tasks independently when required; A consistent ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy; Exceptional attention to detail, crucial for ensuring precision in all accounting processes and documentation.
