The TL;DR

• Mission: Assist with critical year-end financial processes, monthly reporting requirements, and external audit support to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with SOX controls.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Support: Assist with the year-end financial statement process.
• Report Compilation: Assist with the compilation of various reports for footnote disclosures.
• Monthly Reporting: Complete various monthly reporting requirements.
• Audit and SOX Support: Assist with maintaining audit support packages for the external audit and SOX controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher majoring in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship. Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by Spring 2027. Willingness to relocate for the internship.
• Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Bonus: Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of working both independently and as part of a team; exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners; ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment; proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations; strong interest in the automotive industry.
