The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Milwaukee, WI
• Pay: $16.50–$30.00 hourly
• Team: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team
• Mission: Assist the FP&A team with critical expense reporting, close processes, and special projects to support Northwestern Mutual’s financial success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Expense Reporting: Assist the team with monthly and annual close processes for expense entries and reporting.
• Journal Entries: Create journal entries as part of the close process.
• Reconciliations & Checkouts: Perform reconciliations and system checkouts related to expense entries.
• Daily Support: Provide support for daily work within the FP&A team.
• Special Projects: Assist with special projects as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Previous work or classroom experience in Accounting or Finance. Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, confirmed analytical and problem-solving ability, high degree of self-motivation, passion, and a strive to learn, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
